The set-up was simple - clicking ‘OK’ to run through the Auto-setup process.

We loved the ‘game mode’ which produces a refreshingly impressive picture rather than the somewhat overexposed results of many other LCD TVs in this field.

There are many picture options available and it’s worth reading through the manual to set-up some custom views. This can make a big difference on the 37″ screen.

Verdict: Picture is extremely clear and sound is great. Plenty of connections available inc. 3 x HDMI, RGB splits, AV, twin scarts and a network slot as well as various audio connections for Dolby surround options. The Samsung LE37R87 is a winner in our book.
