The Apple MacBook (Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz) is cheaper than the MacBook Pro but comparable in performance.

As well as the usual highly impressive design from Apple, it includes many features such as a built-in Webcam & remote control. It has also been updated to Intel’s Core 2 Duo CPU and compares rather favourably with Apple’s top of the range MacBook Pro line.

RAM is easily upgradeable and also has the option to run windows XP as a second operating system.
We were also impressed with the very bright and crisp display and the use of magnetic devices for closure and power connections.

Verdict: High-end Performance for a reasonably low price.
